Sexual Harassment and Discrimination
This interactive workshop provides in-depth information and skills to help eliminate and prevent all forms of harassment and discrimination in the workplace. Also included in this workshop is an understanding of diversity and how to create an environment of inclusion.
Participants learn what constitutes harassment and discrimination in the workplace and how to avoid creating liability for the company and themselves. State and Federal Laws that apply to discrimination are reviewed. Manager and Supervisor workshops include additional responsibilities and learning skills based on company policies.
Key Workshop Objectives - Attendees will:
- Understand and review existing company policies against discrimination and harassment and grievance procedures
- Increase awareness and sensitivity to behaviors that constitute sexual harassment, including what creates a hostile work environment
- Develop skills to maintain compliance with EEOC guidelines along with creating an environment of inclusion and respect for all employees
- Mangers and supervisors will gain an understanding of their critical roles and responsibilities to avoid creating company liability
- Understand how to effectively and legally respond to complaints and comply with company policies
- Learn how to build a workplace environment of inclusion by valuing diversity
- Learn skills to create and maintain a harassment free workplace
